Baby blessing and Birthday weekend

This past Sunday was Poppy's baby blessing. We decided to push the blessing up since my parents were in town and so Reyn would still be able to hold her without an arm injury during the blessing. She is seriously growing extremely fast. She has the best thunder thighs I've ever seen. I could honestly eat them if I could. Reyn gave an amazing belssing. He blessed her with fun...which is very important in life. She's starting to laugh and giggle...makes my heart melt.

Rocked it at Medieval Times

Minneapolis

Last week I went to Minneapolis to visit my sister and her family. Reyn had to work in Pittsburg the first half of the week and there was no way I was staying home alone with a newborn for 5 days. Seriously. We live in NYC and don't have any family here to help out so I skipped town. I don't know how I did it (especially living in this city) but somehow made it to the airport with all our luggage, carried everything while pushing the stroller to check in, got through security holding a baby in one hand while folding the stroller in another, pumped milk and changed her diaper at the same time while I had a lay over in Atlanta, and fed her and soothed her sitting in the middle seat on the plane. I don't mean to brag... but that's pretty bad ass. I don't mean to discount all the help I had from super nice people who went out of their way to get me through. 

Reyn met me in Minn for the second half of the trip. We partied with Kim and her family. Poppy got to meet her cousins for the first time and finally started showing signs of her personality. She was laughing and smiling and farting non stop. It was awesome.
