Beginning of Fall

It's the beginning of fall and I thought I would be super duper depressed, but I'm actually really loving it here in NY. The weather has been so great and we've been having a great time. I wish I could skip over the winter though...except for Christmas, such a great season here. We are so lucky to live in such an amazing city. It's so weird to think in just 5 months Poppy will have her first birthday. It's gone by extremely fast and almost too fast. She's almost crawling, almost there. We've realized recently that we struggle at restaurants with her. Got a small taste of toddlerness.
Loves to pull my hair out. Poppy, I need all the hair I can get right now. My re-growth is out of control. Check it out there. I have little bangs. Boo. That's what happens if you decide to breast feed ladies. Nobody tells you that. Ninja restaurant He really had the pointed edge touching her stomach. I was freakin freaking out.

Oohhh Friends

This past weekend we had some LA amigos in town. Fun, fun, fun. That's all I have to say. There were so many events going on. Fashion NIght OUt, Fashion Week, the US OPEN (I'm obsessed), VMA's (the worst and most awkward show EVER), Birthdays, Dancing, Eating, Blah, Blah, Blah.
Poppy is now on all fours and I swear will be crawling any moment. She is doing the lunge back and forth thing. She also started cough laughing yesterday and can't stop. She totally has a sense of humor now....so crazy!

Labor Day Weekend

Central Park
Squash Aunt Traci. She's moving to Utah...boo. Poppy trying to pull my hair out. I already have little "bangs" growing in from all my hair falling out from breast feeding. So...so sad.

Girls Trip-Los Angeles

My last stop during my 2 week vacay...LOs AnGeles. Reyn head back to NY from San Diego and I met me mom and two sisters for a weekend in LA. Seriously, the weather is amazing. We stayed in a great hotel, ate awesome mexican food, saw a good band play, did some vintage shopping, and I also got trained doing eyelash extensions. I'm stoked to start bringing some money in. Poppy loved hanging out with the ladies. I think she likes hanging out with ladies more than Reyn...just kidding. She gives Reyn some of the best snuggles. Not fair.

Good times/Bad times

Reyn got some of our film developed and I came across some of my LABOR photos that I thought I would share. So funny to see how puffy I was. Left one photo out where I'm laboring in the tub....sorry guys.
My Labor was a total of 9 hours. Started feeling some contractions around 6 PM at home and saw Poppy's naked body at 2:59AM the next morning. My contractions progressed super fast and were only about 2 minutes apart when we walked over to the hospital. Yes, that's right, I said walked. The hospital where I delivered is only 2 blocks away from our apartment. Kind of cool. Reyn walked over with me and we would stop every 2 minutes and I would just hold onto him and want to scream. I was dilated to a 3 when we got to the hospital around 8PM and a 5 when I got the good stuff injected into my spine. After the numbing took effect I was loving life. My two good friends (Traci and Jessica...Jess was staying at my house at the moment) came by to say hello, I was listening to Antony and the Johnsons on my I phone...will always remind me of labor now...reyn surprised me with their new album download onto my phone...he also gave me some black leather shorts (that looked SO tiny at the moment) and a feather hair clip...he's awesome. When Poppy was ready to come into the world, I honestly pushed her out in 2 minutes. She came so fast that the nurses and doctor almost didn't have enough time to get sanitary. Thank you Pops for wanting to make it out to say "Hi." Can't believe that little muffin is almost 7 months now.
Pancake just out of surgery standing by the tub cheering me on. I also had a candle burning and a Dr. Pepper. Two things that get me relaxed.
