Soffe Mexico Beach House Time

We had a blast with Reyn's family in Mexico. His parents recently bought a beach house South of San Diego in Baja California just an hour past the border. We partied. Obviously looking at the picture below, Poppy partied as well. Those legs are incredible. I honestly could take a huge bite of her left leg. So great. Some of our amigos met us as well for the second half of the week. A little beach time, a little shopping in Rosarito, some great mexi food (that didn't settle that well), and a few mexi dresses for Pops...good times. Pancake came with and seriously was in absolute heaven on the beach. I think she could be in major depression back here in NY. Sorry Pancake...you were meant to be out in the great outdoors and instead you are stuck in our tiny New York apartment running circles. At least you have Poppy's toys to chew on.

Family in town

So, It's been a while since an update. We just got back from a 2 week vacation to Mexico, San Diego and Los Angeles...I'll post those pictures soon. Before we took off my sister Kim and her family came in town for a few days. It's really hard living so far from both our family's, especially having a little one. The problem is...we don't want to live in Utah or Arizona so we're just gonna have to make the trips. I'm glad that Collin and Miles (Kim's two boys...I adore them) got to hang with the Popster. They seriously were obsessed with her. No joke. How could you not be obsessed with those chunky thighs. They are HUGE. I honestly think I could make a large pizza out of her one leg. I love her cottage cheese...so much. We had a great time with the Pollei's.

I swear Poppy changed so much in those 2 weeks. She all of a sudden is getting a sense of humor and rolling around like a mad woman and sitting up all by herself...and totally interacting. I also finally graduated her to the bath and she is in heaven. She loves the water so much. Pics from the weekend...

My First Teeth

This last month has been a huge one for Poppy. She got her bottom two teeth in, She's trying with all her might to crawl when she's on her tummy, I stared her on rice cereal yesterday, and she's started to grab for EVERYTHING which totally freaks me out. I'm still giving her a bath in the kitchen sink...for some reason I can't do the transfer to the bath but she's way too small and knocks everything over on the counter. Her hair is starting to fill in again. It's coming in a strawberry blonde color. Poppy has also made a best friend...Pancake. Pancake will lick her toes and fingers and she loves it. She also loves when Pancake tries to make face with her. She's into scream talking lately. I'll be on the train with her and all of a sudden she'll bust out a super loud scream because she's trying to have a conversation with the person next to her. They jump but then laugh. She wiggles her legs when they smile at her. It's super funny. I love this little muffin.

Her famous stare. Her clothes are seriously wet by the end of the day because she never closes her mouth.  Best buddies. Pancake is so good to her. Poppy will grab Pancakes fur so hard and pancake will just let her do it. Crazy how dogs just know when there's a baby around.
